Orbia has appointed Bijal Shah as Head of its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Pune. With more than 23 years of global leadership experience across technology, operations, financial services and capability centers, she will lead the center’s next phase of growth, focusing on innovation, operational excellence and delivering greater value to Orbia’s global businesses.
Before joining Orbia, Shah spent 16 years at Genworth Financial, where she most recently served as Country Leader for India. During her tenure, she worked to strengthen organisational capabilities, support company-wide transformation and lead the company’s India operations.
Earlier in her career, Shah worked at Patni Computer Systems (iGATE) as a Software Specialist. This role helped establish her technology foundation before she moved into broader leadership, operations and capability center responsibilities.
Throughout her career, Shah has developed expertise in building high-performing teams, driving business transformation, managing large-scale operations and establishing strong partnerships across global organisations.
In her new role, Shah will focus on developing Orbia’s Pune GCC into a future-ready capability hub. The center will support the company’s global businesses through innovation, operational excellence and scalable delivery.
