JSW Energy has appointed Basan Gouda S as Vice President and Head – IT and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), strengthening its leadership across technology and information security.
In his new role, Gouda will lead the company’s IT strategy while overseeing efforts to strengthen cybersecurity and information security capabilities. His responsibilities will include advancing technology initiatives, improving digital infrastructure and ensuring secure and resilient IT operations.
The appointment comes as the energy sector increasingly integrates digital technologies into its operations. As a result, reliable IT infrastructure and strong cybersecurity measures are becoming essential to maintaining business continuity and improving operational efficiency.
