Samsung Galaxy Glasses tipped to launch in select markets in November

Samsung is preparing to enter the AI-powered smart eyewear market, with its Galaxy Glasses expected to launch in select global markets in November. The company confirmed the launch timeline after showcasing the smart glasses at its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in July.

Samsung first revealed that it was developing smart glasses during the Google I/O 2026 keynote. The company has since shown the design and specifications of the wearable, but its pricing remains undisclosed. The price and availability details are expected to be announced around the launch.

Samsung developed the Galaxy Glasses with lifestyle brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. The company has said the smart glasses will initially be available in limited markets, but it has not specified the regions.

The Galaxy Glasses will compete with the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 smart eyewear, which was recently launched.

The wearable is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset and features a built-in camera. The camera will allow the glasses to respond to user queries using visual information from the surroundings.

Samsung says the glasses can deliver up to 9 hours of battery life on a single charge. The wireless charging case can provide up to 7 additional full charges.

The Galaxy Glasses will also come with Google’s Gemini AI assistant. Gemini will be able to perform tasks such as reserving restaurant tables for users and handling similar requests.

The glasses also include a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing users to listen to music and take calls without using their hands.
