Persistent Systems has appointed Kavitha Srinivasulu as Vice President – Chief Cyber & AI Security Officer, strengthening its leadership in cybersecurity, AI security and digital transformation.
In her new role, Srinivasulu will work with customers, C-suite executives and leadership teams across risk advisory, AI security, security engineering and digital transformation. Her focus will include helping organisations address emerging technology risks while identifying opportunities arising from AI adoption.
Srinivasulu brings more than 2 decades of experience across cybersecurity, risk management, data privacy and digital transformation.
Before joining Persistent Systems, she spent more than 4 years at Tata Consultancy Services, where she held roles including Program Director for Cybersecurity and Data Privacy and Global Head of Cyber Risk & Data Privacy for BFSI.
Earlier, Srinivasulu served as Vice President and Head of Cybersecurity at GAVS Technologies. She also worked at AstraZeneca as Associate Director and Head of Cyber Security Resilience.
She began her career with Bank of America, where she served as Senior Manager of Operations and developed experience across cyber risk, governance, risk and compliance and security governance.
At Persistent Systems, Srinivasulu will bring her experience across cybersecurity, privacy, risk and transformation to support the company’s work in AI security and emerging technology.
