More than 15,000 visitors have explored Uttar Pradesh Police’s technology-focused pavilion during the first 3 days of the UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 in Greater Noida. Students, young professionals, business delegates and international guests are visiting the pavilion to see tools used for modern policing and public safety.
Located in Hall 4 at India Expo Centre & Mart, the pavilion features technologies used for cybercrime investigation, surveillance, traffic enforcement, forensics and emergency response. Officials said the exhibition reflects the state’s focus on technology-enabled law enforcement.
The Cyber Help Desk has emerged as the main attraction. Police teams are explaining digital arrest scams, online financial fraud and crimes carried out through social media and messaging platforms. Demonstrations of digital forensic tools used to extract and analyse electronic evidence have also drawn strong interest from students.
Traffic and road-safety equipment, including breath analysers and speed radar guns, is also on display. DG Dial 112 Vinod Kumar Singh said cameras were integrated into breath analysers in 2023 to strengthen evidence collection and reduce disputes during enforcement.
Visitors can also watch live demonstrations showing how technology supports traffic policing. Body-worn cameras and mobile data terminals are being displayed to explain real-time documentation and access to information for officers on patrol.
The specialised operations section features equipment used by ATS and STF, including sniper rifles, close-quarter battle gear, tactical communication systems and bomb-disposal devices. A DRDO-developed rocket launcher and a firefighting-cum-rescue robot have emerged among the most photographed exhibits.
The pavilion also highlights initiatives including the 1090 Women Power Line, Mission Shakti, Pink Booths, CCTV-based surveillance, Intelligent Transport Systems and upgraded forensic capabilities.
