Pavitra Singh, former Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President at PepsiCo India and South Asia, has joined the board of Burma Burma Restaurant & Tea Room. The date of her appointment has not been disclosed.
Singh brings more than 24 years of experience across human resources, talent management, organisational transformation, business strategy and engineering-led industries.
She spent more than 13 years at PepsiCo, holding several HR leadership roles before becoming CHRO and Vice President, PepsiCo India and South Asia, in October 2019. In that role, she led the people agenda across the region, covering talent, capability building and organisational development.
Before taking on the CHRO role, Singh served as Director and Head of Talent Acquisition for Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. She also worked as Director, Global Campus COE, where she focused on global campus hiring strategy and leadership pipeline development.
Earlier, Singh headed Talent Acquisition for PepsiCo India from August 2015 to December 2017. Her responsibilities included recruitment transformation, the use of digital tools in hiring and developing employee value propositions.
Across her career, Singh has worked on talent architecture, capability frameworks, industrial relations, frontline transformation and hiring ecosystems. She has also supported organisations through restructuring and business transformation.
At PepsiCo, she was associated with RevolutioNari, a programme focused on skilling, awareness and employment opportunities for women and households.
Singh’s professional interests include building AI-ready organisations, future skills and leadership development. She has also participated in future-of-work forums involving SHRM, NHRDN, ET and BW.
She is a member of the SHRM Advisory Council and has previously served as an independent director at SPML Infra.
At Burma Burma, Singh joins the board with experience in people strategy, organisational growth and workforce transformation as the company continues to build its teams and organisational structure alongside its wider expansion.
Her specific board responsibilities and joining date have not been disclosed.
