HONO has appointed Ritu Sinha as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), strengthening its people leadership as the HR technology company continues its global expansion.
Sinha brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience across aviation, large enterprises and high-growth organisations. Her expertise includes building HR functions, scaling multicultural workforces, organisational design, leadership development, employee engagement, HR technology and people analytics.
She joins HONO after serving as Head – People Culture & Engagement at flynas in Saudi Arabia, where she built the Culture & Engagement function for a multicultural workforce of more than 3,500 employees. She developed its vision, governance and roadmap, advised senior People & Culture leadership, introduced an enterprise-wide listening framework and supported the airline’s employer-brand and leadership-development agenda.
Before flynas, Sinha was Head of Human Resources at Akasa Air and served as a founding HR leader during its rapid scale-up. She helped build the HR function from the ground up as the workforce grew from around 100 to more than 4,000 employees. Her responsibilities covered workforce planning, organisation design, performance management, DE&I, HR technology, analytics, compliance, benefits and change management.
Earlier, Sinha spent nearly 6 years with Vistara – TATA SIA Airlines, progressing to AVP Human Resources. She led HR Business Partnering and Employee Engagement while contributing to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and talent management initiatives.
Her aviation HR experience was preceded by nearly 9 years with InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo), where she handled HR generalist, Centre of Excellence and HRBP responsibilities. Her work included workforce planning, talent reviews, performance cycles, rewards, CSR, diversity and inclusion.
Sinha began her corporate HR career with Reliance Industries, managing the employee lifecycle at its Vadodara plant across recruitment, employee relations, payroll, grievances, performance management, learning and HR policy.
Across her career, she has developed expertise in people strategy, culture building, organisational scaling, employee engagement, leadership development and HR transformation. She holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD).
