Heim Datacenter has appointed Mette Gyland as Chief People and Talent Officer. Based in Stockholm, Gyland brings more than 25 years of experience across human resources, people management and organizational development, with leadership experience in the construction and public sectors.
Before joining Heim Datacenter, Gyland served as HR Sjef at Backe Rogaland, where she spent more than 3 years leading HR activities. Her responsibilities included employer branding and onboarding, alongside broader work focused on developing people practices and supporting organizations through growth and change.
Prior to Backe Rogaland, Gyland spent nearly 16 years across Kruse Smith and Kruse Smith Entreprenør, progressing through several HR roles.
At Kruse Smith, she served as HR Sjef and HR-leder after spending more than 4 years as Personalrådgiver at Kruse Smith Entreprenør. Her work covered recruitment, leadership support, employee follow-up, absence management, salary negotiations, collaboration with employee representatives, strategic development, organizational restructuring and workforce reductions.
Earlier, Gyland spent more than 13 years with Randaberg kommune. She served as Personalkonsulent for 6 years after initially working as Økonomikonsulent. This experience gave her a foundation across both HR and financial administration before she moved into more senior people leadership roles.
With more than 2 decades focused on HR and people-related functions, Gyland brings experience in talent management, recruitment, employee relations, leadership support, organizational change and strategic HR.
Her appointment comes as Heim Datacenter continues developing its Nordic data center platform for hyperscale, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and cloud workloads.
