HubSpot has appointed Rekha Gurnani as Director, Compensation, adding an experienced rewards leader with expertise across global compensation, people analytics, compensation consulting, M&A and total rewards strategy.
Gurnani joins HubSpot with experience spanning compensation strategy, people analytics, finance, consulting and rewards leadership across high-growth and global technology organisations.
Before joining HubSpot, she worked in Global Compensation at Palo Alto Networks from September 2024 to August 2026. During the same period, she also continued as Founder & CEO of The Comp Ally, an initiative focused on helping organisations, individuals and communities adapt to changes in pay.
Earlier, Gurnani served as Senior Director, Head of Global Compensation & People Analytics at Box, where she led the global compensation function and helped expand the company’s people analytics capabilities.
Before Box, she was Senior Director, Global Compensation at Procore Technologies. There, she built the global compensation team, established pay range structures, designed compensation programmes and supported 2 major M&A transactions and their integration efforts.
Her technology-sector experience also includes compensation leadership roles at Atlassian and Symantec, where she worked as a global compensation business partner and supported compensation and M&A initiatives.
Before moving into corporate roles, Gurnani spent around 5 years with Radford as a Global Compensation Consultant, working on high-tech and sales compensation survey operations and advisory engagements.
Her earlier career included roles in People Analytics at Safeway, Financial Planning and Analysis at HSBC, and Underwriting / FP&A at Liberty Mutual Insurance. This experience combines rewards, analytics and finance expertise.
Gurnani is also active in the HR and rewards ecosystem. She serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Latam Business School, Faculty for Hacking HR’s Compensation & Total Rewards Certification Program, and a Total Rewards Tech Advisor with PeopleTech Partners.
She holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an M.Sc. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University.
