He brings nearly three decades of experience spanning total rewards, human resources, workforce planning, people operations and organisational transformation. In his new role, he will lead DXC’s Total Rewards function, with a remit covering compensation, benefits, recognition and broader people programmes.
The appointment comes as DXC continues to reshape its organisation around an AI-centric growth strategy and a future-ready workforce. The company has made a series of senior leadership changes this year as it works to simplify operations and accelerate execution across its business.
From Pegasystems to DXC
Mr Reing joins DXC after nearly six years at Pegasystems, where he most recently served as Vice President, People Services, overseeing Total Rewards, Operations, Analytics, Technology and Mobility. Before Pegasystems, Reing held multiple leadership positions at SAP, including Vice President of Business Services & Culture, Marketing & Communications; Vice President of HR; and Head of Total Rewards for SAP Americas.
His earlier career includes HR and consulting roles at Google Cloud, GSK and PwC.
A broader role for Total Rewards
Reing’s appointment reflects the expanding role of Total Rewards within enterprise people strategy. Beyond compensation and benefits, the function increasingly intersects with workforce planning, employee experience, talent retention and organisational performance.
DXC’s leadership has also highlighted the importance of building a workforce capable of supporting the company’s next phase of transformation. In a recent leadership update, the company said its broader organisational changes are aimed at accelerating execution, strengthening accountability and enabling customers and employees to navigate an increasingly AI-driven environment.
With Mr Reing now leading Total Rewards, DXC is positioning the function as an important component of its broader people and workforce agenda as the company continues its transformation.
