With more than 25 years of experience in human resources, Vaishali Rathod has joined Sampled as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In her new role, she will focus on scaling the company’s people strategy and strengthening its talent, culture and organisational capabilities as Sampled expands across biobanking, multiomics and drug discovery support.
Rathod will lead the People and Business function, working across the organisation to build the capabilities and operating foundation needed to support Sampled’s growth within the biological sample and research services ecosystem.
Her experience covers people strategy, organisational effectiveness, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management and organisational change.
Before joining Sampled, Rathod spent nearly 6 years as Chief People Officer at Tandym Group. She led people-focused strategies and processes across hiring, training, professional development, total rewards and performance management, while aligning the people agenda with business growth and strengthening organisational culture.
Earlier, Rathod spent more than 9 years with Johnson & Johnson in multiple leadership roles. Most recently, she served as HR Leader, Organisational Effectiveness, overseeing talent strategy, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management and organisational change.
She previously worked as Talent Acquisition Lead – DEI and held a role in Global Recruiting, supporting talent requirements across Johnson & Johnson’s businesses.
Rathod began her HR career with roles including HR Business Partner at Bristol-Myers Squibb and HR Specialist at Siemens Medical Solutions.
She is also an active member of TroopHR, a national HR leadership community focused on peer learning and sharing practices across HR transformation, talent management and change management.
Her appointment adds experienced HR leadership to Sampled as the company continues to build its talent and organisational capabilities alongside its expansion.
