Madhumitha Venkataraman takes on South Asia equality leadership role at Salesforce

Salesforce has appointed Madhumitha Venkataraman as Director and Regional Equality Lead for South Asia, adding her experience in people strategy, inclusion, and organisational transformation to the company’s leadership team.

In her new role, Venkataraman will lead Salesforce’s South Asia Equality strategy, with a focus on bringing together AI and equality within workplace culture. She will support an employee base of approximately 18,000 people across South Asia and drive initiatives aimed at strengthening inclusion and building a more equitable workplace.

Her career includes leadership roles at Netflix, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Snapdeal, GE India, and Mercer, where she worked across HR strategy, talent management, leadership development, employee experience, and inclusion.

Before joining Salesforce, Venkataraman was Founder, Diversity & Inclusion Strategist and Certified Counsellor at Diversity Dialogues. In this role, she worked with corporates, NGOs, and educational institutions on initiatives covering diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and mental health.

At Salesforce, she will draw on her experience across people strategy, diversity, equity and inclusion, and organisational transformation to support the company’s equality agenda and drive meaningful change across South Asia.
