Rajneesh Srivastava has joined Saraswat Bank as Head – Technology Transformation, Development, Core Banking and Delivery, taking on a senior leadership role covering technology transformation, application development, core banking and technology delivery.
Srivastava brings extensive experience in banking technology, enterprise AI, digital lending, IT transformation, program management and technology operations. Before joining Saraswat Bank, he spent more than 5 years with Axis Bank, most recently serving as Vice President – Information Technology.
At Axis Bank, he led capabilities under the Enterprise AI Program, covering Generative AI, large language models, machine learning, intelligent document processing, video analytics and conversational AI. He also worked on the Digital Lending Platform across DevOps, cloud and databases, CI/CD, site reliability engineering, API integration, data observability, IT compliance and project management.
He joined Axis Bank in 2021 as Deputy Vice President – Information Technology. His responsibilities included IT automation, application performance testing, infrastructure and network monitoring, AIOps, IT service management, Power BI, PowerApps and strategic technology implementations.
Earlier, Srivastava served as Associate Director at Subex, where he led internal tools and applications and helped establish a centralised project and program management office. He worked on standardising delivery processes across geographies and implementing enterprise platforms including JIRA and Confluence.
He also served as Associate Director at NTT DATA Services, focusing on program and project governance, Agile implementation, operational controls, risk management and executive-level reporting. Earlier, he had worked with Subex as a Project Lead.
Srivastava spent more than 8 years with Modasys Technology in Brunei, progressing from System Analyst to IT Project Manager. His work covered software development, data centre projects, network infrastructure, OSS-BSS implementations and technology projects for banking, telecom and government clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science and Engineering from Acharya and completed an Executive Post Graduate Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode.
