3i Infotech has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Shavee Sehajpal as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She brings 24 years of experience in strategic HR, organisational transformation, workforce planning and talent management.
Sehajpal joins the technology company after serving as HR Head – India at NTT DATA. She has also held leadership positions at Honeywell, Maersk and Algonomy.
HR leadership at NTT DATA
Sehajpal was HR Head – India at NTT DATA from March 2023 to January 2026. She led a 30-member Centre of Excellence and HR business partner team supporting around 4,000 employees.
Her work covered HR strategy, workforce planning, executive hiring, performance alignment and cost management. She also helped restructure the people and culture function around a Centre of Excellence and analytics-led model.
During her tenure, she introduced an HR scorecard and workforce analytics, automated parts of the employee lifecycle and led an AI-enabled sales capability-building programme covering more than 350 employees.
Experience across industries
Before NTT DATA, Sehajpal served as Vice President – Human Resources at Algonomy from 2021 to 2023. She also worked as an independent HR adviser and virtual CHRO, focusing on HR transformation, recruitment, process redesign and building HR functions.
From 2017 to 2020, she was HR Director – Honeywell Connected Enterprise at Honeywell, supporting APAC operations and shared-services functions across finance, procurement, law, marketing communications and customer experience.
Earlier, Sehajpal spent more than 4 years with Maersk Global Service Centres as Global Human Resources Business Partner for the finance function. She supported around 2,800 employees across India, the Philippines and China, covering organisation design, leadership hiring, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management and retention.
Her earlier career includes HR roles at Wipro BPO, Allcargo Global Logistics and Tata Consultancy Services. At TCS, she worked across HR technology, competency management and resource management and helped establish BPO operations in Ukraine.
Sehajpal holds an MBA in Human Resources from ITM Group of Institutions and a BSc in Zoology from Sri Venkateswara University. Her appointment places her at the helm of 3i Infotech’s HR function after a career spanning domestic and international workforce operations.
