Apollo Tyres has strengthened its global human resources leadership with the appointment of Mayank Jauhari as Group Head HR. He will oversee key people priorities across the organisation as the tyre manufacturer continues to expand its global operations.

In his new role, Jauhari will lead areas including global rewards architecture, mobility programmes, performance management, HR technology and HR transformation. He will also focus on building people capabilities that support the company’s business growth and changing organisational needs.

His responsibilities will span multiple business functions, including commercial operations and the global supply chain. He will also work on strengthening HR systems and processes across Apollo Tyres.

Jauhari joins Apollo Tyres after nearly 10 years with A.P. Moller – Maersk, where he held senior roles across human resources and rewards. His experience there included managing complex people priorities and HR programmes within an international business environment.

His appointment brings expertise across rewards, performance management, mobility, HR technology, transformation and organisational capability building. The role places him at the intersection of HR strategy and business priorities as Apollo Tyres continues to operate and grow across international markets.

Jauhari holds a PGPHR in Human Resources from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, which he completed between 2004 and 2006.
