Coinbase has elevated Dominique Baillet to Chief People Officer, adding more than 20 years of cross-functional experience in people, strategy, growth and organisational transformation to its leadership team.
Baillet has been with Coinbase since 2020 and most recently served as VP, People. During her tenure, she has led a broad range of people functions, including Total Rewards, Workplace, Employee Experience, HR Business Partners, HR Technology, People Analytics, Internal Communications and People Operations.
She also served as interim VP of External Communications during 2025, adding communications leadership to her experience at the company.
Baillet’s career combines people leadership with expertise in product, growth, strategy and organisational transformation. Before joining Coinbase, she held leadership roles at Care.com and NerdWallet.
Earlier, she developed her strategy and transformation expertise at Bain & Company. Her career has also included experience with Teach For America, Evolv and organisations working across education and international development.
In her new role as Chief People Officer, Baillet will bring her broad experience across people strategy, business transformation and organisational development to Coinbase as the company continues to evolve and expand globally.
Her appointment builds on a long tenure at Coinbase and reflects her progression across multiple leadership functions within the organisation.
