IBM appoints Japnit Kaur to lead marketing across India and South Asia

IBM has strengthened its regional marketing leadership with the appointment of Japnit Kaur as Head of Marketing, IBM India & South Asia. 

She will lead marketing initiatives across IBM Consulting and IBM Technology in the region.

In her new role, Japnit will oversee account-based marketing, executive engagement, industry marketing, demand generation and partner-led growth. Her mandate will focus on strengthening IBM’s marketing strategy and deepening business engagement across India and South Asia.

Japnit brings extensive experience in B2B enterprise marketing, with a career spanning marketing strategy, demand generation, executive engagement and industry-focused marketing.

Before joining IBM, she held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware, Religare and Wipro. Her experience across these organisations has given her exposure to enterprise marketing and business growth across technology and other industries.

At IBM, Japnit will bring this experience to its consulting and technology businesses, with a focus on supporting growth, strengthening customer engagement and building deeper connections with enterprise audiences.

Her appointment adds to IBM’s marketing leadership as the company continues to expand its engagement with businesses across India and South Asia.
