Sumit Chouhan has taken on a new cybersecurity leadership role as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Trojan Hunt India LLP.
In his new position, he will lead cybersecurity strategy, strengthen information security capabilities and help organisations improve resilience against evolving cyber threats.
Chouhan brings extensive experience across cybersecurity, information security, research and engineering, technical leadership and cybersecurity business development. His background combines technical expertise with strategic experience across security innovation and enterprise solutions.
Before joining Trojan Hunt India, Chouhan served as SVP – Cybersecurity at DestroSolutions. He also held the position of Vice President – Research & Engineering at 63SATS Cybertech, where he focused on cybersecurity innovation, threat detection, client advisory and technology research.
Earlier, Chouhan was Country Director at CYDEF, where he worked on cybersecurity business and market development. He also served as Principal Sales Engineer at BlackBerry, leading cybersecurity pre-sales, partner enablement, market development and technical solutions across South Asia.
Across these roles, Chouhan has built experience spanning cybersecurity strategy, information security, threat detection, technology research, technical solutions and customer engagement.
At Trojan Hunt India, his appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s cybersecurity leadership as organisations face an increasingly complex threat environment.
