Dr. Joie Bose has taken on a new leadership role at Capgemini after being promoted to Director.
Her career brings together experience across strategy, transformation, talent, digital transformation, ESG, diversity and inclusion, communications and organisational development.
Bose has been with Capgemini since June 2023, working as a Strategy & Transformation Leader. Her responsibilities have included stakeholder management, organisational transformation, resource strategy and business-focused people initiatives.
Before joining Capgemini, Bose worked at Deloitte as HR Talent Strategy and Operations Lead. She also served as Purpose Office – Kolkata Center Lead, supporting ESG strategies, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and corporate social responsibility programmes for professionals across the Kolkata centre.
Earlier, Bose spent more than 6 years with PwC. Her work covered business services, digital transformation, change management, learning and development, innovation management, strategy and communications, and knowledge management.
At PwC, she also contributed to the Purpose Office as Women in Technology Program Lead, CSR Champion and DEI Champion. In these roles, she supported diversity and ESG-focused initiatives for a workforce of more than 1,000 professionals.
Bose’s career also includes a strong foundation in communications and academia. She managed and executed the Communication Lab at Jadavpur University and served as Senior English Faculty at the Heritage Institute of Technology.
Earlier, she spent more than 7 years as a journalist with The Telegraph, adding extensive experience in communication and content to her professional background.
Bose holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the Swiss School of Business and Management. She also completed an Executive Programme in Business Administration and Management at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and holds postgraduate qualifications in communications and English literature.
Her promotion to Director at Capgemini brings together her experience across business transformation, people strategy, communications, ESG and organisational development.
