Awfis Space Solutions Limited has promoted Tarun Bayala to Senior Vice President – Human Resources, reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its position as India’s largest flexible workspace solutions provider.
In his expanded role, Bayala will continue to lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on organizational capability, leadership development, talent management and culture transformation to support Awfis’ continued growth.
Bayala has been associated with Awfis Space Solutions for more than 2.5 years. Prior to his promotion, he served as Vice President – Human Resources, where he played a key role in strengthening the organization’s human capital strategy, supporting business expansion, enhancing organizational capability and aligning people initiatives with the company’s rapid growth. His elevation reflects his significant contribution to building a high-performing and future-ready workforce.
Before joining Awfis, Bayala served as Head – Human Resources, APAC at Space Matrix, leading the company’s HR strategy across the Asia-Pacific region.
Earlier, he was part of a hospitality startup, where he initially served as Director – Culture & People Development, leading people strategy, organizational development and HR operations. He later took on the additional responsibility of Head of Operations, overseeing business operations while continuing to drive strategic HR initiatives.
Prior to that, Bayala spent nearly 9 years as Vice President – Human Resources at C&C Alpha Group, where he led HR strategy, talent management and organizational development initiatives. He also served as Senior Manager – Corporate Human Resources at Cushman & Wakefield, gaining extensive experience in corporate HR, leadership development and strategic human resource management.
He began his professional career with Heidrick & Struggles as an Associate, building expertise in executive search, leadership hiring and executive talent advisory.
Bayala holds an Executive Program in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
