Citizens Financial Group, Inc. India has appointed Rajesh Mani as Managing Director.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s India operations, drive business strategy, strengthen innovation capabilities, and support its long-term growth agenda.
Rajesh brings extensive leadership experience across banking, payments, fintech, digital transformation and technology, with a strong track record of driving business growth and strategic partnerships.
Before joining Citizens Financial Group India, Rajesh spent several years at Mastercard, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President & Head of Asia Pacific Tech Hubs. During his tenure, he held several key leadership positions, including Head – India Tech Hub, Country Manager – Sri Lanka & Maldives, Head – Digital Partnerships, South East Asia, Vice President – Asia Pacific Domestic Switches, and Vice President.
Earlier in his career, Rajesh held business leadership roles at Matrimony.com (Bharat Matrimony), airtel, American Express and ITC Ltd. Over the years, he has built deep expertise in payments, fintech, digital transformation, technology, strategic partnerships and business expansion.
With his broad industry experience and leadership background, Rajesh is expected to play a key role in accelerating Citizens Financial Group India’s innovation initiatives and supporting its continued growth in the market.
