PwC has promoted Sanam Shah to Managing Director, marking a key milestone in her nearly 13-year career with the global professional services firm. The promotion reflects the company’s continued focus on developing internal leadership talent and recognizing professionals who have demonstrated consistent growth and long-term commitment.
Shah joined PwC in 2013 as Senior Associate – Capital Markets Advisory and has steadily progressed through a series of leadership roles. Over the years, she advanced to Manager – Capital Markets Advisory, Senior Manager, Director, and now Managing Director.
Most recently, she served as Director, a position she assumed in July 2020 after her tenure as Senior Manager. Throughout her journey at PwC, Shah has been part of the firm’s Capital Markets Advisory practice, supporting clients on complex capital markets and advisory engagements.
Before joining PwC, Shah worked as Assistant Manager – Investment Banking at Citigroup in Mumbai, where she spent more than 3 years building expertise in investment banking. She also gained international experience through internships with Equifax as a Treasury Intern and PRIUM Medical Cost Management during her MBA.
Shah holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, which she completed between 2011 and 2013.
Her appointment as Managing Director highlights PwC’s commitment to recognizing leadership, professional excellence, and long-term contributions within the organization.
