Strengthening its Board with global leadership expertise, HCLTech has appointed Jacob Dahl as an Independent Director, effective July 13, 2026. He brings nearly 4 decades of experience spanning international banking, strategy, risk management, governance, and business transformation.
Jacob currently serves as an Independent Director at Danske Bank, one of the leading banking groups in the Nordic region.
Before this appointment, he spent more than 25 years at McKinsey & Company, where he served as Senior Partner and held several global leadership positions, including Co-Leader of the Global Banking Practice and Leader of the Asia Banking Practice. He also led McKinsey’s Financial Services practices across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, advising leading financial institutions on strategy, business transformation, technology adoption, risk management, and regulatory matters.
Earlier in his career, Jacob served as Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Basisbank, Head of Corporate and Private Banking at Carnegie, and Head of Bonds & Managing Director of the stockbroking business at Lannung Bank A/S.
