
TARC Limited has appointed Mridul Shreevastava as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team as the luxury real estate developer enters its next phase of growth and organisational transformation.
In his new role, Mridul will lead TARC’s enterprise-wide people strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, rewards, learning and development, employee experience, and organisational capability. Along with Human Resources, he will also lead Business Excellence and the Project Management Office (PMO), supporting planning, execution, governance, and operational excellence across the organisation.
Mridul brings more than 23 years of leadership experience across technology, telecommunications, financial services, real estate, and hospitality. He has built a strong track record in organisational transformation, business scaling, and governance.
Most recently, he served as Co-Founder and Principal Consultant at Chieftain Search & Advisory, where he advised organisations on executive search, leadership development, and people transformation.
Earlier, he spent nearly 7 years as Chief People Officer at Spectra (formerly Systema Shyam). During this period, he led the company’s people strategy through business restructuring, diversification, and governance transformation. His initiatives contributed to an annual EBITDA improvement of approximately ₹10–12 crore, supported 18% year-on-year revenue growth through a redesigned sales capability framework, increased monthly sales productivity by 32% using workforce analytics and incentive redesign, implemented AI-enabled HR technology platforms, introduced automation across customer service and sales operations, established ESOP-linked executive compensation frameworks, strengthened leadership succession, and helped incubate a MedTech business that generated approximately ₹50 crore in revenue during its first year.
Before Spectra, Mridul spent 5 years at Hero FinCorp as Head – Human Resources. During one of the company’s fastest growth phases, he helped expand the workforce from 2 employees to more than 7,000 while supporting business growth from approximately ₹350 crore to ₹19,000 crore in assets under management. He also led initiatives covering performance management, rewards, leadership development, workforce analytics, sales incentives, executive compensation, and governance.
Prior to Hero FinCorp, he worked as Senior Manager – Human Resources at Religare, where he led organisation development and enterprise learning initiatives for more than 10,000 employees. He established the company’s digital learning platform and introduced employee engagement programmes that significantly reduced attrition.
Earlier in his career, Mridul served as Assistant Manager – Human Resources at DLF Homes, managing talent acquisition, manpower planning, employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.
He holds an Executive Diploma in Human Resources from XLRI – Xavier School of Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad.
