Strengthening its leadership team for the next phase of growth, VIRGIO has promoted Hansa Nigam to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). 

In her new role, she will lead the company’s marketing and growth strategy, focusing on strengthening brand positioning, accelerating customer acquisition, and enhancing consumer engagement while continuing to shape VIRGIO’s identity at the intersection of fashion, technology, and sustainability.

Since joining VIRGIO in 2023, Hansa Nigam has played a key role in building the brand’s narrative and strengthening its connection with consumers. Her marketing leadership has helped position VIRGIO as an innovative fashion brand that combines technology with sustainability. As Chief Marketing Officer, she will now oversee the company’s overall marketing vision, driving brand growth, customer experience, and market expansion while supporting its long-term business goals.

Before joining VIRGIO, Hansa worked in Digital Marketing & Growth at Glance, where she led digital marketing initiatives for celebrity-led brands and helped strengthen customer engagement strategies.

Earlier, she spent 2 years at OnePlus, serving first as Marketing Lead for OnePlus Nord (India) and later as Marketing Strategist for the OnePlus Nord Global portfolio. During this time, she led product marketing strategies, brand positioning, and market expansion for one of the company’s flagship smartphone portfolios.

Earlier in her career, Hansa held strategic planning roles at The Glitch, progressing from Manager, Account Planning and Management to Senior Manager, Strategic Planning. She developed integrated brand strategies for leading consumer brands. She also gained experience through roles at Leo Burnett Group India, World of EMG, Make A Difference, and Dainik Jagran, building expertise in communications, branding, storytelling, and consumer engagement.

Hansa holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune. Her experience across brand strategy, digital marketing, product marketing, and consumer growth positions her to lead VIRGIO’s marketing organisation as the company continues to advance sustainable fashion through technology and innovation.
