Indu Amar has joined Alvarez & Marsal as Senior Director, bringing more than 20 years of experience in indirect taxation, regulatory advisory, tax strategy and client consulting.
In her new role, she will help clients navigate complex tax regulations while delivering strategic advisory services that support business growth and value creation.
Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, Indu spent nearly 12 years at Deloitte India, where she most recently served as Executive Director after a long tenure as Director – Indirect Taxes. During her time there, she advised clients on a wide range of indirect tax and regulatory matters.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at PwC India and Deloitte, working with multinational and domestic organisations on indirect taxation and strategic tax advisory. Her extensive experience and leadership in tax consulting are expected to strengthen Alvarez & Marsal’s advisory capabilities and support its continued growth.
