Dr. Sharma brings more than 18 years of professional experience, including nearly 10 years in the insurance industry. She is known for her people-focused leadership, entrepreneurial approach, and strong commitment to customer engagement.
Before joining Howden, she served as Vice President – Sales at Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., where she played a key role in expanding the company’s sales capabilities and strengthening client partnerships. Earlier, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President – Sales in recognition of her contributions to business development and revenue growth. During her tenure, she led sales strategy, relationship management, and market expansion initiatives that strengthened the company’s presence in India’s insurance broking sector.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Sharma worked as Assistant Vice President at Marsh, gaining extensive experience in insurance advisory and corporate risk solutions. She also held leadership positions at MediBuddy, serving as Assistant Vice President and Senior Sales Manager, where she contributed to healthcare business growth, strategic partnerships, and commercial expansion. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams and creating long-term customer relationships.
Before moving into insurance and healthcare leadership, Dr. Sharma was the Founder and Director of My Family Dentist, where she established and managed a chain of multi-specialty dental clinics. Prior to that, she served as Head Dentist and Consultant Periodontist at Sabka Dentist, leading clinical operations, mentoring healthcare professionals, and driving operational growth. She began her professional journey as a Dental Surgeon at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences.
Dr. Sharma has also completed the Executive General Management Programme (EGMP 55) in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore). Her combined experience in clinical practice, entrepreneurship, business leadership, and insurance positions her well to support Howden’s continued growth and strengthen client engagement across India’s evolving insurance market.
