Fresh leaks suggest Xiaomi is preparing notable upgrades for the upcoming Redmi Note 17 lineup, with improvements expected in battery capacity and processor performance.

According to information shared on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Note 17 series could feature larger batteries and updated chipsets compared to the current generation. While the company has not officially confirmed any specifications, the leak points to several hardware enhancements.

The report indicates that the standard Redmi Note 17 model may be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Meanwhile, the Note 17 Pro is tipped to arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. The Redmi Note 17 Pro+ could feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

Battery capacity is also expected to receive a boost across the lineup. The Redmi Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro+ are said to pack batteries exceeding 7,000mAh. This would mark a significant jump over the Redmi Note 16 series.

The upcoming devices are expected to continue focusing on performance and battery life, two areas that have remained key selling points for the Redmi Note lineup.

Although the exact launch timeline remains unclear, the leaked details suggest that Xiaomi is preparing major hardware upgrades for the next generation of Redmi Note smartphones. More information is expected to emerge in the coming months as the launch approaches.
