Under Armour has appointed Madhu Natesan as Vice President and Managing Director at its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru. In his new role, he will lead the company’s global digital roadmap and oversee capabilities across engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure functions supporting Under Armour’s worldwide operations.
Natesan joins Under Armour with extensive leadership experience spanning technology, digital transformation, merchandising operations, analytics, finance, and business operations.
Prior to this appointment, he was associated with Saks Global India for more than 5 years. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director from May 2025 to April 2026. Before that, he held the role of Vice President Business Operations, where he led business functions across technology, merchandising, demand planning, digital operations, finance operations, human resources, marketing, and analytics while serving as the site leader for Saks Bangalore.
Earlier, he held multiple leadership positions supporting Saks through Hudson’s Bay Company, including AVP Business Capabilities, DVP Merchandising Operations, and Director Merchandising Operations. During this period, he led merchandising, planning, and digital capabilities supporting Saks, Saks OFF 5TH, and Hudson’s Bay, while also launching the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capability in Bengaluru.
Before joining Hudson’s Bay Company, Natesan spent more than 7 years with Target across India and the United States. He held several leadership roles covering merchandising operations, finance transformation, project management, supply chain management, inventory operations, and automation initiatives.
His earlier experience includes positions such as Director Merchandising Operations, Group Manager Merchandising Operations, Project Manager – Large Finance System Implementation, Lead Business Process Consultant, Business Manager, and Project Manager – Target Financial Services.
Natesan began his professional journey at Dell, where he served as Senior Team Manager – Fraud and Loss Prevention from 2002 to 2008.
He also completed a General Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore during 2009–2010. With deep expertise across digital transformation, AI, analytics, business operations, and enterprise technology, Natesan is expected to play a key role in advancing Under Armour’s global technology and innovation agenda.
