In his new role, Ashish will lead OneSpan’s India R&D operations and drive innovation across the company’s security product portfolio.
Ashish joins OneSpan with extensive experience in technology leadership, engineering management, cloud platforms, digital transformation, and product development. He brings a strong track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams while delivering technology-driven business outcomes.
Prior to joining OneSpan, he served as Vice President, Head of Software [Cloud, Data, AI, IoT; Digital and IT Strategy] at Barco, where he led strategic technology initiatives across multiple domains, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data platforms, and digital transformation.
Earlier, Ashish spent several years at Oracle, holding a series of leadership positions. His roles included Senior Director, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) India Head of Engineering, Identity Cloud; Director, Product Development, Identity Cloud Services; and Senior Manager Engineering. During his tenure, he played a key role in advancing cloud and identity management solutions.
Before Oracle, he gained valuable product engineering and software development experience at iPolicy Networks and Hughes, where he served as Senior Software Engineer.
With deep expertise spanning cloud technologies, identity and access management, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, SaaS platforms, and product engineering, Ashish brings a broad perspective to his new leadership role. His appointment is expected to strengthen OneSpan’s innovation capabilities and support the continued evolution of its security solutions portfolio.
