Expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup, Vivo has launched the Vivo S60 in China alongside the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition. Both models will go on sale from June 3 via the company’s online store and are offered in multiple colour options.

The Vivo S60 series starts at CNY 3,599 (around Rs. 50,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant, while higher configurations go up to CNY 4,399 (around Rs. 62,000). The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition is priced from CNY 2,899 (around Rs. 41,000), with top variants reaching CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 49,000).

The devices come in Early Summer Green, Midsummer Night’s Dream and Sea of Stars colourways.

The standard Vivo S60 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR support, 1.07 billion colours, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 459ppi density and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It also carries IP69 + IP69-rated protection for dust and water resistance and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The design uses a unibody “cold-carved glass” finish.

Powering the device is a 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with an Adreno 735 GPU, up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

On the camera front, the Vivo S60 includes a triple rear setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering up to 100x digital zoom. A 50-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls, with support for 4K video recording.

The smartphone packs a 7,200mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging via USB Type-C and includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and multi-satellite navigation support.

The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition shares most features including the display, battery, charging, cameras (excluding the periscope lens), fingerprint sensor and build design. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset with an ARM Mali-G625 GPU, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It weighs 199g, compared to 207g for the standard model.

Both devices run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and include a wide set of sensors and connectivity features.
