Kotak Life Insurance has promoted Vivek Jaiswal to Executive Vice President, recognizing his long-standing contributions to the organization and his leadership across strategic and business transformation initiatives.
In his expanded role as Chief of Staff to the CEO | Executive Vice President, Vivek will continue to support the company’s strategic priorities, business governance, executive decision-making, and key transformation programs as Kotak Life strengthens its position in India’s life insurance sector.
Prior to this promotion, he served as Chief of Staff to the CEO | Senior Vice President, where he played a key role in driving strategic projects, analyzing business performance, governing critical business meetings, evaluating distribution investments, and supporting engagement with external stakeholders and industry forums. His efforts contributed significantly to improving organizational alignment and execution of key business objectives.
Earlier, Vivek held the position of Senior Vice President – Executive Office, supporting enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic planning activities. Before that, he spent more than 11 years as Senior Vice President – Distribution Strategy and Support, where he led agency distribution strategy, financial management, and operational support functions. During this period, he played an important role in enhancing distribution effectiveness, improving business performance, and supporting the growth of one of the company’s key channels.
Vivek’s association with Kotak Life spans nearly 19 years. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Manager – Central Operations, overseeing commission and reinsurance payouts, PAN India sales hierarchy management, MIS, and quality control functions. Through consistent performance and leadership, he progressed across several key positions within the organization.
Over the course of his career with Kotak Life, Vivek has developed extensive expertise in distribution strategy, financial analysis, governance, project management, operational excellence, and executive leadership.
His elevation reflects Kotak Life’s confidence in his ability to support the company’s future growth, strategic execution, and ongoing transformation journey.
