Reporting directly to President and CEO Louis Torchio, Chad will lead the bank’s information technology strategy and operations as part of the executive leadership team.
In his new role, Chad will oversee technology initiatives aimed at supporting business priorities, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer and employee experiences across the bank’s network.
Chad brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience. Most recently, he served as CIO for Shared Services Operations at Wells Fargo, where he developed a Know Your Customer (KYC) platform and implemented AI agents to improve operational efficiency. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at JP Morgan Chase and PNC, leading major transformations across core banking systems, digital channels, and AI platforms.

Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Based in Columbus, Ohio, he will work closely with teams across Northwest Bank to modernize technology platforms and support the company’s continued growth.
