Indian smartphone brand Lava International has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Lava Bold N2 5G smartphone. The new device will join the existing Bold N2 lineup, which currently includes the Bold N2, Bold N2 Lite, and Bold N2 Pro models.
The company announced that the Lava Bold N2 5G will launch in India on June 3 at 12 PM IST. A dedicated microsite for the smartphone is now live on Amazon, confirming that the handset will be available for purchase through the e-commerce platform. The phone has also been teased in a blue colour option.
The upcoming smartphone is confirmed to run on Android 16. Lava has also revealed the design of the device through the microsite. The Lava Bold N2 5G appears with a flat rear panel and a square-shaped camera module placed at the top-left corner. The module houses a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash.
The phone is expected to feature a 13-megapixel primary rear camera. The “5G” branding is also visible beside the camera unit. On the sides, the handset includes a power button and volume controls, while the overall design follows a flat-frame style.
The new Lava Bold N2 5G appears to carry a design similar to the Lava Bold N2 4G, which was introduced in India on February 17. The 4G version launched at a starting price of Rs. 7,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
For reference, the Lava Bold N2 4G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with up to 90Hz refresh rate and comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset and packs a 5,000mAh battery.
The 4G model also includes a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel front camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
