Reliance-backed Lotus Chocolate Company Limited has appointed Piyush Goyal as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues its growth journey in India’s FMCG sector.
A Chartered Accountant and Cost & Management Accountant, Goyal brings more than 15 years of experience across commercial finance, financial planning and analysis, supply chain finance, and corporate controlling.
Over the course of his career, he has held finance leadership roles at several major consumer goods companies, including Mondelez International (Cadbury), Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Hindustan Unilever Limited, ITC Limited, and Zydus Wellness.
Lotus Chocolate is an Indian manufacturer of premium chocolates and cocoa-based products. The company came into sharper focus in 2023 when Reliance Consumer Products Limited acquired a controlling stake as part of its broader strategy to expand its presence in the fast-moving consumer goods market.
The appointment comes as Reliance continues to strengthen its consumer business portfolio and scale its footprint across multiple FMCG categories.
