Xbox has introduced a new community feedback platform called Player Voice, giving gamers a direct way to share opinions and suggestions with the company. The Reddit-style portal allows users to upvote feedback, making the most popular requests more visible to Xbox leadership.
The strongest message from players so far is clear — many fans want Xbox exclusive games to return. One of the top-voted posts on the platform reads, “XBOX was built off of great game exclusives, you cannot sell any consoles without a reason to buy the console compared to your competition or even sending your tentpole games over to your competitor. BRING THEM BACK PLEASE.”
Microsoft began releasing first-party Xbox titles on rival platforms in 2024. Since then, major franchises such as Forza Horizon and Halo have expanded to PlayStation, while titles like Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle also arrived on PS5.
Under CEO Asha Sharma, Xbox has introduced several community-focused changes. These include reducing Game Pass pricing, rebranding efforts, retiring the Xbox Copilot AI assistant, and revealing plans for the next-generation Xbox console. The company has also confirmed it is reviewing its long-term exclusivity strategy.
Apart from exclusive titles, users on the Player Voice platform are also demanding backward compatibility support, free online multiplayer access, improvements to Xbox achievements, and a Game Pass family plan.
Microsoft said the portal is designed to improve transparency between players and the company. Users will be able to track whether their feedback has been reviewed and if it leads to future updates. However, the company clarified that not every request will result in a change.
“We want to be clear: this doesn’t mean every piece of feedback will turn into a feature or result in a change,” Microsoft stated in a blog post.
Despite strong community demand, Microsoft may continue launching games on competing platforms due to growing revenues. Forza Horizon 5 alone reportedly sold more than 5 million copies on PS5 after its release in 2025. Xbox is also expected to launch Halo: Campaign Evolved, Forza Horizon 6, and Fable on PS5 this year.
