Adding a fresh update to its audio lineup, Nothing is set to introduce a new blue colour option for its Nothing Ear (open) earbuds on May 11.
The announcement follows recent teasers that led to speculation about a new model launch. However, the company has confirmed that the update is limited to a new colour variant and not a hardware refresh of the existing earbuds.
The new blue shade is described as subtle, especially when compared to the brighter blue finish seen on the Nothing Phone (4a). The addition still gives users more choice, as the Ear (open) was originally launched only in white. This meant it did not offer the black and yellow options available across other earbuds in Nothing’s 2024 lineup.
The Ear (open) earbuds have gained attention for their open-ear design and everyday usability. While there is still no confirmation on a next-generation upgrade, the new colour launch brings a small refresh to the product range.
The blue variant will officially be available starting May 11, offering users another design option within the existing lineup.
