Eleganz Interiors secures large-scale AI GCC project as India’s tech hubs expand

In a significant development for India’s commercial infrastructure space, Eleganz Interiors Limited has secured a large-scale project to build a Global Capability Center (GCC) for a leading global technology and artificial intelligence enterprise in Bengaluru. The project will cover around 450,000 sq ft.

The scope of work includes the execution of a modern workspace designed to support advanced technology operations, engineering teams, and AI-driven innovation functions. This development aligns with the client’s broader expansion strategy in India.

India’s GCC ecosystem continues to see strong growth, with over 1,700 GCCs currently operating in the country. These centres employ around 1.9 million professionals and generate more than $64 billion in annual revenue. Bengaluru remains a key hub, attracting global companies setting up engineering, AI, analytics, and product development centres.

GCCs are now evolving beyond traditional support roles into strategic innovation hubs. They are increasingly focused on product engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and advanced analytics. Workspaces are being designed to enable collaboration, agile working, and technology-driven operations.

Sammeer Pakvasa, Managing Director and CEO of Eleganz Interiors Limited, stated that GCCs represent the innovation backbone of multinational organisations and require environments that support collaboration, engineering productivity, and large-scale technology integration.

The company will execute the project through its integrated Design and Build and General Contracting model. This approach combines strategy, engineering, procurement, and execution to ensure quality delivery, timelines, and smooth coordination.

Eleganz Interiors brings over 37 years of experience and has delivered more than 30 million sq ft of interior fit-out projects across India and global markets. The company operates in 35+ cities, with offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, NCR, Pune, and Singapore, supported by a team of 400+ professionals.

This project further strengthens the company’s position in India’s growing commercial and technology infrastructure sector, as global firms continue to invest in next-generation workspaces built for innovation, collaboration, and long-term growth.
