In a boost to the city’s growing tech ecosystem, Duddilla Sridhar Babu inaugurated a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) of Heineken in the Financial District on Wednesday.
The new facility spans 76,000 square feet and will serve as a global hub for finance, digital services, technology, and analytics. Officials said the centre is expected to play a key role in strengthening Hyderabad as a major destination for GCCs.
Heineken, founded over 150 years ago, is among the world’s leading brewing companies. Its products are available in more than 190 countries, and the company operates over 165 breweries across 70 countries.
According to officials, the company plans to generate over 300 high-value jobs in the first phase of operations. Employment at the centre is expected to grow to around 1,600 roles in the coming years.
The launch of this GCC highlights the continued expansion of global firms in Hyderabad, driven by its strong talent pool and growing infrastructure.
