Vinay moves into this role after serving as Head of People at Skye Air Mobility, where he played a key role in building and scaling the company’s people function. As CPO, he will lead people strategy, workforce expansion, and organisational effectiveness, aligning talent priorities with the company’s high-growth trajectory.
During his nearly 2-year tenure, Vinay helped shape the company’s HR and operational foundation. He led Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Administration across India, while also managing large-scale logistics operations involving a workforce of over 1,000. His role combined people leadership with execution across supply chain, drone logistics, and core business functions.
Before joining Skye Air Mobility, Vinay was Co-Founder and Director – HRBP at EyeMyEye, where he built and scaled HR and administrative functions across online and retail operations. He also contributed to customer service and supply chain coordination.
He previously held leadership roles at EssilorLuxottica, leading HRBP, Talent Acquisition, and operations for the Coolwinks business in India, driving HR transformation and managing large teams. His experience at Coolwinks Technologies further strengthened his expertise in scaling digital-first businesses.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Biotique, McCormick & Company, and IBM, building capabilities in HR operations, talent management, compensation, compliance, and employee engagement across diverse industries.
Vinay holds an HR specialization from XLRI Jamshedpur and an MBA in HR and Administration from Sikkim Manipal University.
With his experience across HR leadership and high-growth environments, Vinay Kumar is set to drive Skye Air Mobility’s people-first growth strategy as it continues to innovate in last-mile logistics.
