Expanding its budget smartphone lineup, Poco has introduced the Poco C81 and Poco C81x in India as its latest affordable offerings under the Xiaomi sub-brand.

The Poco C81 is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the Poco C81x comes at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB + 64GB model. Both smartphones will go on sale starting April 27 at 12 pm via Flipkart. The Poco C81 is available in Elite Black, Ice Blue, and Sunset Gold colours, while the Poco C81x will be offered in two shades, excluding Sunset Gold.

Both devices are powered by an octa core Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU clocked at 1.8GHz. They feature LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a MicroSD card.

The Poco C81 runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3, while the Poco C81x operates on Android 15. The company promises 4 years of OS updates for the Poco C81 and 2 years for the Poco C81x. Both devices will receive 6 years of security updates.

In terms of display, the Poco C81 features a 6.9-inch HD+ screen with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 800 nits brightness. The Poco C81x comes with a slightly smaller 6.88-inch HD+ display, supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 650 nits brightness. Both displays carry TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian-Friendly certifications.

For cameras, the Poco C81 includes a dual rear setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor and an additional unspecified camera. The Poco C81x has a single 13-megapixel rear camera. Both phones feature 8-megapixel front cameras and support video recording up to 1080p at 30 fps.

The Poco C81 packs a 6,300mAh battery, while the Poco C81x houses a 5,200mAh battery. Both support 15W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS. Both devices also come with side-mounted fingerprint sensors and an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The Poco C81 measures 171.56×79.47×8.15mm and weighs 208g, while the Poco C81x measures 171.79×77.8×8.26mm and weighs 193g.
