In this expanded role, he will lead investment sales across India, focusing on strategic transactions, capital deployment, and advisory within the hospitality real estate sector.
Bedi has been with JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group for several years, advancing through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, where he played a central role in driving transaction advisory and strengthening investor relationships across the hospitality sector.
Earlier, as Senior Director, he contributed to hospitality investment transactions, deal structuring, and advisory mandates, further strengthening JLL’s presence in India. In his previous role as Director – Hotels & Hospitality Group at JLL India, he managed sale, purchase, lease, and debt & equity transactions within the hospitality space.
Before joining JLL, Bedi worked as Vice President at Brookfield Financial, where he focused on hospitality advisory and structured transactions, executing deals involving large hotel portfolios and complex financing structures.
Bedi began his career at Mahajan & Aibara, where he spent over 20 years building expertise in hospitality consulting, feasibility studies, valuations, and transaction advisory. During this period, he contributed to expanding the firm’s hospitality practice into operator search, asset management, and strategic advisory across sectors such as hospitality, travel, tourism, aviation, and logistics.
His early experience also includes operational exposure through Hotel Diplomat & Café Downtown, providing a strong foundation in both operations and advisory within the hospitality sector.
With over 20 years of experience, Bedi brings deep domain knowledge, strong transaction expertise, and a nuanced understanding of hospitality assets, positioning him to lead JLL’s investment sales strategy in India.
