In a move that highlights growing confidence in India’s tech ecosystem, Redwood Software has launched a new global centre in Hyderabad’s Hitech City.
The centre marks a significant expansion of the company’s operations in India and reinforces Hyderabad’s position as a major global technology hub. Speaking at the inauguration, Phani Nagarjuna, CEO of Telangana Artificial Intelligence Innovation Hub, said the development reflects the city’s rise as the GCC capital of India. He pointed to a strong ecosystem supported by over 400,000 professionals, advanced infrastructure, and a proactive policy environment.
He added that the state is actively driving AI innovation through initiatives focused on talent development, startups, data infrastructure, and global collaborations. He emphasised that the new facility is not just another office, but a strategic investment at a time when artificial intelligence is reshaping industries. He also noted that companies like Redwood will play an important role in delivering responsible and ethical AI-driven automation solutions.
Redwood Software CEO Kevin Greene described the Hyderabad centre as the company’s largest global office and a key part of its long-term strategy. He said that more than 7,000 enterprises globally rely on Redwood’s automation platform, and the company is now focusing on building advanced AI-powered orchestration systems to manage complex enterprise workflows.
Greene highlighted Hyderabad’s strong talent pool, innovation-led ecosystem, and government support as key reasons for choosing the location. He added that the centre will act as a core hub for developing next-generation AI capabilities, with local engineers contributing to global product innovation.
He further stated that the company aims to create a “transformational” workplace in Hyderabad, focused on innovation, collaboration, and long-term career growth, while also contributing to the broader technology ecosystem.
Rajkumar Paulraj, Vice President (Engineering) and Country Head of Redwood India, was also present at the launch.
