This newly created role reflects S&P Global’s focus on accelerating innovation, strengthening enterprise technology, and advancing its global transformation strategy.
Firdaus Bhathena will assume the role effective April 27, leading the company’s technology ecosystem and overseeing AI-driven capabilities. He will also drive large-scale transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and delivering greater customer value.
Bhathena brings extensive global experience in technology leadership. He joins from FIS Global, where he served as Global Chief Technology Officer, managing a team of over 24,000 professionals.
Earlier, he was Chief Digital Officer at CVS Health, where he led major digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
He also co-founded WebLine Communications, which won the MIT $50K Business Plan Competition and was later acquired by Cisco, highlighting his strong entrepreneurial background.
With a career spanning enterprise technology, digital transformation, and innovation, Bhathena brings a well-rounded leadership profile to drive S&P Global’s next phase of growth.
