The smartphone brand appears to be preparing a major expansion of its Edge 70 series, with multiple new devices expected to launch soon. According to a tipster, Motorola could introduce 3 additional models—Motorola Edge 70 Pro, Edge 70 Pro+, and 70 Pro Lite—adding to its existing lineup.
The current Edge 70 series already includes Motorola Edge 70, 70 Fusion, and 70 Fusion+. Another model, Motorola Signature, was earlier expected to launch as Edge 70 Ultra. The upcoming Pro variants are said to carry internal codenames Terrain, Terrain+, and Terrain Lite, as revealed by tipster Evan Blass on X.
This development follows the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in India on March 6. The device was introduced at a starting price of Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. Other options include 8GB + 256GB at Rs. 29,999 and 12GB + 256GB at Rs. 32,999.
Meanwhile, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ has not yet launched in India but debuted in select global markets on March 12. It is priced at BRL 2,969 (roughly Rs. 52,900) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The device features a 6.8-inch 1.5K (1,272×2,772 pixels) Super HD AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and packs a 5,200mAh battery.
Separately, details about the rumoured clamshell foldable Motorola Razr 70 have surfaced. The device is expected to arrive in 3 colour options—Pantone Hematite, Pantone Sparkling Green, and Pink. It may be offered in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM variants, paired with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
Reports also suggest that the Razr 70 has been spotted on China’s 3C certification database with model number XT2657-2. This indicates that the foldable smartphone could launch soon, although the company has not officially confirmed any details yet.
