In a move aimed at enhancing its AI subscription offering, Google has increased the cloud storage limit for its AI Pro plan without raising the price, giving users significantly more space across its ecosystem.
With the latest update, Google AI Pro subscribers will now get 5TB of cloud storage, up from the earlier 2TB limit. The expanded storage can be used across services such as Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos.
The upgrade comes at no additional cost. The plan continues to be priced at ₹1,950 per month or ₹19,500 per year in India. The added storage is expected to benefit users who store large amounts of data, including videos, images, documents, and AI-generated content.
The rollout has already begun, and the increased storage is now visible across Google services. It is available to paid subscribers as well as users enrolled through student offers and bundled subscriptions.
Apart from storage, the Google AI Pro plan offers access to advanced AI tools. These include Gemini and Deep Research capabilities, along with video generation using the Veo model. Users can also create image-to-video content with Veo 2 in Whisk and get limited access to Veo 3 Fast on Vertex AI.
Students receive 1,000 monthly AI credits, which can be used for generating text, images, and videos through platforms like Flow and Whisk. The plan also offers up to 5 times higher limits for creating Audio Overviews, notebooks, and more in NotebookLM.
In addition, subscribers can use Gemini across Google apps such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides, making AI features more integrated into everyday workflows.
With the inclusion of 5TB storage, the Google AI Pro plan now combines AI tools and large-scale storage into a single offering, catering to users with growing digital and AI-driven needs.
