Pushkar Singh Dhami approved a financial outlay of Rs 75 crore for key development and cybercrime-related initiatives across the state.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister met Gurmit Singh at Lok Bhavan. During the meeting, he briefed the Governor on ongoing development projects, public welfare measures, and broader governance priorities.
A major portion of the allocation, Rs 31.63 crore, has been approved to set up a Cyber Centre of Excellence in Dehradun. This initiative aims to address the growing challenges of cybercrime in the state.
Infrastructure development also received significant funding. An amount of Rs 22.72 crore has been sanctioned for reconstructing a key road in the Kichha assembly constituency in Udham Singh Nagar district. The road connects NH-109 from Pt Ram Sumer Shukla Government Medical College to Atariya Mata Temple Mod via SIDCUL and Anandpur, extending up to SH-44.
Additionally, Rs 19.40 crore has been allocated under the state plan for the reconstruction and improvement of the Shimla Pistaur Kureya motor road in the same constituency.
Further approvals include Rs 1.30 crore for building an approach road to the under-construction Sub-Divisional Transport Office in Roorkee.
Under infrastructure development for Scheduled Caste-dominated areas, Rs 67.42 lakh has been set aside for maintenance work at the Government Scheduled Caste Girls’ Hostel in Mussoorie, Dehradun.
In Udham Singh Nagar, Rs 18.06 lakh has been approved for installing a tube well and mast lighting at the Government Tribal Hostel in Khatima.
