The meeting took place at Lok Bhavan in Tamil Nadu, where Stalin greeted Ravi and presented him with a statuette of Tamil saint-poet Tiruvalluvar as a mark of respect.

R.N. Ravi has been serving as the Governor of Tamil Nadu since September 18, 2021. Recently, he was appointed as the Governor of West Bengal as part of the latest gubernatorial appointments.

Following the change, Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will hold additional charge as the Governor of Tamil Nadu.

In a separate development, Chief Minister Stalin also paid tribute to late DMK leader and former minister K. Anbazhagan on his death anniversary.

Sharing a message on X, Stalin recalled Anbazhagan’s contributions to the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). He noted that Anbazhagan stood firmly with DMK patriarch M. Karunanidhi during a challenging period for the party and later served as a guiding influence for him as well.

The tributes highlighted Anbazhagan’s long association with the party and his role in shaping its leadership during critical phases.
