In her expanded role, Ms. Bush will focus on strengthening the company’s human resources foundation as the organization continues to grow. Her responsibilities include building people-first systems that support employees across clinics, support teams and remote care operations. She will also lead efforts to develop scalable HR programs, improve employee engagement, strengthen performance management frameworks, and promote inclusive workplace practices.
Bush joined Modern Animal in 2022 as Senior Manager, People Business Partner. In that role, she led the HRBP function in a high-growth startup environment. She supported clinic teams, support staff and virtual care operations while working closely with leadership to define people development metrics, implement performance management systems and advance diversity and engagement initiatives. She was later promoted to Senior Manager, People Experience before moving into her current Director-level position.
Before joining Modern Animal, Bush held senior HR leadership roles at Chipotle Mexican Grill. There, she led People Operations and People Compliance initiatives, developed compliance processes across multiple states and partnered with field operations to strengthen governance frameworks while supporting investigations and employee relations programs.
Earlier in her career, Bush held HR leadership roles at The Wing, Ross Stores Inc., Stage Stores and Target. Through these roles, she developed expertise in multi-unit HR management, associate relations, talent development, succession planning and employee engagement.
During her time at Stage Stores, she was recognized as Human Resources Business Partner of the Year in 2015.
With more than 10 years of HR leadership experience across retail, hospitality and healthcare-adjacent sectors, Bush’s promotion reflects her continued impact in building strong HR infrastructure and creating workplaces where employees can grow and succeed.
