Lenovo unveils foldable Legion Go and AI-powered concept laptops

Lenovo took centre stage on the opening day of Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, unveiling a series of concept devices as the global technology event began on Monday and runs until March 5. The company showcased a foldable gaming handheld along with new modular and 3D laptop concepts, and also shared details about the rollout of its on-device AI assistant, Lenovo Qira.

The highlight was the Lenovo Legion Go Fold, a foldable gaming handheld with an 11-inch pOLED display when unfolded and a 165Hz refresh rate. When folded, it offers a 7.2-inch screen and features detachable controllers. The device runs on an Intel Ultra 7 258V CPU, paired with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. Beyond handheld gaming, it supports split-screen multitasking, expanded display gaming and desktop-style interaction. The company said the concept showcases “hybrid gaming and productivity experiences” through a single foldable device.

Lenovo also presented the Lenovo ThinkBook Modular AI PC with the tagline “carry small, use big”. The 14-inch laptop is designed with interchangeable display configurations and detachable input components, modular I/O ports and replaceable elements. Users can attach a secondary display in multiple orientations for better multitasking and even swap the keyboard for a 19-inch version. In addition, the Lenovo Yoga Book Pro 3D was showcased as a “glasses-free” 3D laptop. It combines dual displays with “AI-powered 2D-to-3D conversion” and supports gesture interaction. The device is aimed at creators and is designed to reduce “friction in immersive content creation”, marking Lenovo’s entry into “spatial computing”.

The company also announced the upcoming rollout of Lenovo Qira, described as a “Personal Ambient Intelligence”. Integrated at the system level, it will work across Lenovo and Motorola devices including PCs, tablets, smartphones, laptops and wearables. Qira is “designed to help maintain continuity between tasks and devices” and will roll out via OTA updates to more than 20 devices across the Yoga, IdeaPad, Legion and ThinkPad lineups. It will launch in 6 languages across 9 regions, including English in the US, the UK and India, Spanish in the US, Latin America and Spain, French in France, Italian in Italy, German in Germany and Portuguese in Brazil, with further expansion planned.
